Animal microsomes and S9 are available from a variety of species including Sprague-Dawley, Fischer 344, and Wistar rat. Microsomes are a valuable tool for studying the metabolism of your compounds and for examining potential drug-drug interactions. In addition to pooled rat microsomes and S9 there are also fully characterized pooled microsomes and S9 from Sprague-Dawley rats that have been induced with a variety of compounds.
All microsomes and S9 Fractions are prepared at an approximate concentration of 20 mg/mL. A product data sheet is prepared by Quality Control for every lot of microsomes and S9.
