Plateable Hepatocytes

Cryoplateable hepatocytes are used for induction, biliary transport and toxicity studies. They are prepared from human and animal tissue and are readily available. Celsis IVT cryoplateable human hepatocytes show high levels of induction following treatment with known inducers omeprazole (CYP1A2) and rifampin (CYP3A4). All plateable lots have greater than 70% viability and confluence.

Cryopreserved plateable hepatocytes have a number of advantages over fresh, especially when conducting induction studies and other assays that last over several days. For example, you can run your induction study on three donors at once when you select your cells from our extensive inventory.
