InVitroCYP™ Human Microsomes

It’s time to change the way you think about microsomes. With Celsis IVT’s InVitroCYP microsomes, you can choose the ideal microsomes for your research. Now, with our proprietary 3-C process, you are guaranteed to get the right microsomes for the right study, every time. Offered in three distinct classes, InVitroCYP H-class™, InVitroCYP M-class™, and InVitroCYP C-Class™, InVitroCYP microsomes give you the unprecedented ability to choose an activity level that optimizes your study’s results.

Human Microsomes (other organs) and Human Liver S9

Microsomes prepared from human intestine, kidney, and lung are available. These products are valuable tools for studying the metabolism of your compounds and for examining the potential for drug-drug interactions. Individual and pooled human S9 have been produced from a bank of different human livers, enabling you to use these products to predict "average" human metabolism of your compounds.

Animal Microsomes and S9

Animal microsomes and S9 are available from a variety of species.  Microsomes are a valuable tool for studying the metabolism of your compounds and for examining potential drug-drug interactions.  In addition to pooled microsome and S9 produced from control laboratory animals, you can purchase fully characterized pooled microsomes and S9 from Sprague-Dawley®™ rats that have been induced with a variety of compounds.

 Celsis IVT 3-C quality process

To guarantee InVitroCYP’s quality, unsurpassed lot-to-lot consistency, and the targeted activity levels you need in your research, Celsis IVT developed an exclusive 3-C process for microsomes:

1. Characterize all tissue, at Km and Vmax levels, before blending.

2. Combine using a proprietary algorithm to ensure optimum enzyme activity for the different product classes across nine key CYPs.

3. Certify that the final products meet target specifications, including total P450 levels, through Celsis’ independent Quality Assurance/Quality Control department.
