Human Microsomes (other organs) and Human Liver S9

Microsomes prepared from human intestine, kidney, and lung are available. These products are valuable tools for studying the metabolism of your compounds and for examining the potential for drug-drug interactions. Individual and pooled human S9 have been produced from a bank of  different human livers, enabling you to use these products to predict "average" human metabolism of your compounds. Human microsomes (other organs) and human liver S9 characterization information can be viewed online for your convenience.

Features and Benefits

  • Quality. Celsis IVT microsomes are quality checked by our independent quality control and quality assurance lab to guarantee quality and consistency
  • Readily Available. Each product is produced in large batches, so you can consistently use the same lot of microsomes and S9 across experiments.

Storage
Animal liver microsomes and S9 must be stored in a mechanical cryogenic freezer below -70°C to guarantee the preservation of cytochrome P450 enzymes.

Stability
Historical data demonstrates that when stored under the recommended conditions, our human liver microsomes are stable for five (5) years. Celsis IVT is continually performing stability studies, following ICH guidelines, to validate and extend product shelf life.
